No Sugar Challenge — Day 25
Another day and another fast.
For breakfast I had toast with chicken and bell peppers leftovers from last night.
Prayed, showered and studied a bit. Due to COVID we've been again moved to online classes. So I took that and did a gig on the side.
It's so amazing that when I'm fasting I don't crave anything. I do feel hungry. Duh. But I don't crave anything in particular. My mind is always like to eat whatever is easy to make.
Iftar time (opening the fast) is around 5:30 pm these days. So I always decided 30 minutes before that.
Today I made myself a scrambled egg sandwich with lots of lettuce.
(Bread broke 😅😅)
I thought about this combination at the spot and it turned out terrific. Soft creamy eggs with crunchy lettuce. Thinking about it all over again is making my mouth water.
At night I eat some Haleem (it's a traditional Pakistani dish made with a variety of lentils and meat). I ate carrots and cucumbers by dipping them in the curry. It was also a weird creamy and crunchy combination in it's own way.
After dinner I tried really hard to study but just ended up binging YouTube shorts.
Study-wise the day wasn't a success but challenge-wise it definitely was.
